Human Resources Generalist

Our Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, salaried position who works alongside the Director of Human Resources. This role is based in Dallas, TX and requires on-site work 3 days out of the week with 2 says working remote.


What You’ll Do:

  • Administers team member life cycle processes including: hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations

  • Ensures all team member information and data is kept up to date in system administration software (Zenefits)

  • Administers company benefits and provides information to team members. Liaison between team members and benefits brokers.

  • Processes bi-weekly payroll and frequently audits timekeeping system to ensure accuracy in hours, time off, holidays, and more

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations, payroll, taxes, and existing company policies

  • Keeps track of all HR related state and federal agency notices and ensures timely response on all issues

  • Key point of contact for team members regarding HR related questions such as PTO, benefits, etc.

  • Assists in administering and calendarizing the mid year and annual review process for the full team

  • Manages all job postings, reviews resumes, assists with scheduling job interviews, conducts initial screener interviews as needed

  • Onboards all team members including scheduling orientation, 30-60-90, and additional training

  • Off-boards all team members including processing termination paperwork and scheduling exit interviews

  • Provides direct support to the Director of Human Resource by assisting with special projects and event planning related to culture and engagement

  • Administers Anniversary gift program

  • Weekly upkeep of The Studio (main office) by monitoring supply levels and maintaining the space appearance for team members: office supplies, mailing supplies, snacks, and drinks. (We are currently working remotely so this is a low lift.)

  • Direct point of contact with team members and third-party vendors to resolve issues, including servicing and repairs at the studio.

  • Receive and sort incoming mail and email deliveries, and manage outgoing mail

  • Work with IT company to resolve networking needs/ technical issues

  • Assist Warehouse Manager with any office or upkeep requirements at the Fulfillment Center

  • Provides direct support as Executive Assistant to CEO for scheduling and admin tasks


What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • SHRM certification preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources

  • Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software

  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
