Our Photographer role is a full-time position reporting directly to the Photo Studio Producer. In this role you will work closely with the Producer and Creative Directors to execute campaigns and microshoots and help bring each brand's creative vision to life. You will also closely collaborate with the creative teams to ensure the content needs of each brand are successfully captured through photography and video. The person we are looking for has a passion for their craft and a pulse on emerging trends in photography and video in the luxury goods and fashion industry. This is a hybrid-remote role, working 3 days a week at the studio in Deep Ellum (Dallas) and also on set for photoshoots. What You’ll Do:
Independently lead and execute e-commerce product shoots as well as smaller and occasionally short notice social and ad shoots
Independently execute or collaborate with a freelance Photographer on campaign editorial, campaign product, and e-commerce lifestyle shoots. Acting as a second photographer if/when needed.
Collaborates with Creative Director and Marketing Director on shot lists, to ensure all necessary products are shot
Upload all images to Capture One Server to ensure Creative Director’s are able to make selections
Retouch and color correct images as needed
Manage product retouching and coordination with GSL, as well as match level of edits and color grades when needed
Assist Photo Studio Producer in upkeep and organization of the studio space and all equipment
Ensure all photo files and data are kept organized and tracked on the company’s secured drives
What You’ll Bring:
Classical education in photography preferred, but not required
Proven experience as a photographer in a competitive industry with focus on product photography, please provide your portfolio
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detailed knowledge of photography art and lighting
Customer focus with a desire to over deliver on quality
Knowledge of Capture One, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and or Davinci Resolve
Flexible to travel to locations as required of the job
