Our Accountant role is a full-time, salaried position reporting directly to the Controller. In this role you will work closely with our Accounting team to manage all financial records for our growing company, take charge of the day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, and help ensure that payments are collected and made on time and that all financial records are accurate. You will also prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with the Company’s internal policies. We are looking for someone with solid quantitative skills, an eye for discrepancies, and a methodical and detail oriented workflow. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role, however, on the job training is provided. This is an ideal position for someone with accounting experience at a small to medium sized business who is interested in transitioning into a growth-focused environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and maintain company financial records, chart of accounts, bank accounts and credit cards

  • Accurately record all accounting transactions

  • Manage invoices and payments for both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

  • Identify process and control improvement opportunities and work with managers to implement appropriate modifications

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for a small team (under 60)

  • Complete monthly reconciliations

  • Process payments & reimbursements


What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2+ years in an accounting or bookkeeping

  • Proficiency in Netsuite, preferred but not required

  • Proficiency using Excel

  • Experience in a start-up or small business environment

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment

  • Demonstrated understanding of GAAP accounting principles

  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
