Our Photo Studio Producer is a full-time, salaried position which manages the in-house Photographer and all freelancers. This role is based in Dallas, TX but requires travel to New York, NY as the Producer is responsible for photoshoots in both Dallas and New York. This is a hybrid-remote role, working 3 days a week at the studio in Deep Ellum (Dallas) and also on set for each photoshoot.
We are seeking an experienced Photo Studio Producer to join our creative company and work with all our brands. You will oversee the planning and production of photography and videography, as well as manage all bookings for campaigns, lifestyle, editorial and product shoots. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in producing high-quality fashion photoshoots, managing budgets, timelines, and collaborating with marketing and creative teams to produce exceptional visual content.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with Creative Directors (and creative team) to plan, develop and execute the creative concept for each photoshoot
Manage the company-wide production calendar, ensuring photoshoots and deliverables are scheduled in line with product releases and marketing timelines
Manage upkeep and organization of our Photo Studio and all equipment
Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and schedules for photoshoots, ensuring that all resources are utilized efficiently, collaborate with Accounting team to manage invoice payments and track spend reports for each shoot
Maintain budget for 2023 and develop budget for 2024 and future years, whilst providing regular updates to Leadership on budget status
Source and hire photographers, videographers, models, hair and makeup artists, stylists, and other crew members as required for each photoshoot
Maintain relationships as well as grow new relationships with photographers, directors, models, hair & make-up artists, and stylists in Dallas and NYC. Arrange portfolio reviews between creative team leaders and artists
Negotiate contracts, fees, and usage rights with talent and vendors
Coordinate all shoot related logistics, including location scouting, travel arrangements, and equipment rental
Ensure that all necessary permits and legal requirements are obtained before each photoshoot
Manage the full crew team on set, ensuring that all elements of the photoshoot run smoothly and efficiently, Enforce day of schedule
Collaborates with Creative Director and Marketing Director on shot lists, to ensure all necessary products are shot
Manage post production photo selection process with photographers/videographers and creative team
Manage post production deliverables for both video and photo with in house photographers and contracted personnel, Communicate timeline of deliverables to all stakeholders, Ensure all deliverables are completed on time
Coordinate with photo retouchers as needed for post-production edits
Ensure all photo files and data are kept organized and tracked on the company’s secured drives
Increase efficiency and quality of content and report on impact on business objectives
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience as a photo shoot producer in the fashion industry
Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and schedules for photoshoots
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with talent and vendors
Thinks with both sides of the brain: creative vision and strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with a team
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suites and Capture One
